The TMCF Classic will feature a four-person scramble format with a 9am shotgun start at the Telluride Golf Course. Players will create their own foursomes, with individual players and smaller groups paired by tournament staff. If you are signing up as individuals and want to specifically be paired with other individual sign ups, please send an email to hlauterbach@tellmed.org.
Calcutta & Cocktails will be a community fundraising event benefiting the Telluride Medical Center Foundation, designed to support local healthcare through a fun and optional evening for tournament participants and supporters.
Healthcare in Telluride is uniquely complex. TMF serves a small year-round population while also meeting significant seasonal demand, all within a rural mountain setting where access, staffing, and resources must be carefully balanced.
The Telluride Medical Center Foundation plays a critical role in ensuring the Med Center can continue to deliver high-quality care while adapting to the evolving needs of our community.
The Telluride Medical Center Foundation Classic is the institution’s key fundraising event, supporting the full scope of healthcare in Telluride, from direct patient care and behavioral health services to community health programs and care for those who might otherwise lack access.
The event also supports the people behind that care, including recruitment, training, and retention of providers and staff, as well as the tools, technology, and planning needed to keep care modern, effective, and close to home.
In a rural healthcare environment this level of care is only possible through community support.
A day of golf is your opportunity to align with a core community priority while making a lasting impact on healthcare in the Telluride region.
What to Expect in 2026
Reimagined for 2026, this elevated experience begins with a lively Calcutta on Sunday, June 28, followed by tournament play on Monday, June 29 featuring curated on-course activations, and concluding with lunch and awards. Expect a thoughtfully designed event that brings together great golf, community, and purpose.

6-8pm: Calcutta at The Grand
Monday, June 29
7:30am – 9am: Registration check-in, breakfast, golf practice facilities open
9am: TMCF intro, rules & regs, followed by shotgun start
Lunch & awards immediately following golf

TMCF is excited to welcome Heidi Lauterbach as the new Telluride Medical Center Foundation & Capital Campaign Director.
Heidi brings a strong background in community leadership, fundraising, and marketing, most recently serving as Executive Director of the Telluride Mountain Club, where she successfully established and elevated the organization’s impact through strategic growth, donor engagement, and stewardship.
In her new role, Heidi will lead annual giving efforts while helping guide the Med Center’s upcoming capital campaign to support the future of healthcare in Telluride.
Her experience, energy, and deep connection to this community will be instrumental as we enter this next chapter.
