This compelling documentary that follows entrepreneur Cindy Eckert’s bold fight to bring Addyi—dubbed “female Viagra”—to market, exposing the gender bias women face in medical research and drug approval. The film reveals the broader movement of scientists, doctors, and advocates working to ensure women’s sexual health is taken seriously and treated with the same urgency as men’s.
The film will be introduced by OT Ringleader David Holbrooke. The film runs approximately 1.5 hours and will be followed by a Q & A with the filmmaker moderated by Dr. Diana Koelliker.
