Telluride Medical Center Foundation (TMCF) is instrumental to the operations of the medical center. Reimbursements
are not enough to cover all of the operational costs. The delta has been increasing annually and especially the last few years as a result of inflation and impacts from the pandemic.
The TMCF 2023 funding priorities include:
• Ensuring patient access and equity
• Staff education and training
• Workforce housing
Funding is essential to support those priorities which include key services and positions like a chronic care manager and a licensed behavioral health therapist, which otherwise would not be available. This year the TMCF must raise $1.6 million to ensure continued patient access and equity, including our essential chronic care management program as shared through Pam Guillory’s story.
TMCF is now asking for help from the Telluride community so that medical services are here when you need them.
