11 Jun TAB: “The Runway” Fashion Show; Sneak Peek Added 6/24!
Telluride AIDS Benefit is committed to fighting HIV and AIDS on a local, statewide and national level and aims to keep HIV relevant in every generation and cultivate a healthy and stigma-free society.
Tickets to the Telluride AIDS Benefit’s “The Runway” fashion show for 6/25 & 6/26 are sold out. But a Sneak Peek was added for Thursday, 6/24! Tickets for that show are here.
All tickets are being sold as pods of two, four, six and up to eight guests. So you can reserve your table today and surprise your friends tomorrow. The show will be a one-of-a-kind, unforgettable experience. From transportation, bottle service and a golden hour cocktail moment, to your favorite designers walking the tarmac… you’ll be part of the ‘highest’ altitude fashion to ever take place in the nation.
The Telluride AIDS Benefit (TAB) is proud to announce its upcoming partnership with the Telluride Regional Airport (TEX) on an innovative, outdoor benefit fashion show, “The Runway,” premiering June 25 and 26, 2021.
“The Runway” Fashion Show concept was developed in response to the worldwide coronavirus pandemic, when all indoor events were cancelled, including TAB’s annual Fashion Week and fashion shows in February.
“The Runway” is a departure from TAB’s traditional indoor fashion show and will be held on the tarmac at the Telluride Regional Airport (TEX), the highest commercial runway in North America (9,078 ft above sea level).
Guests will be seated facing Telluride’s iconic Mt. Wilson as they enjoy TAB’s signature blend of chic fashion and entertainment, rivaling even New York Fashion Week. Table service and complimentary private car service options, as well as appetizers and other surprises, round out the evening for each pod-style patron group. Complete with international fashion designers, and in partnership with local fashion retailers, “The Runway” will be a once-in-a-lifetime guest experience.
The Telluride AIDS Benefit, in conjunction with Auberge Resorts Collection, is excited to offer patrons exclusive access to an Andy Warhol Exhibit and “Decades,” LA Vintage Clothing Trunk Show, with a portion of the proceeds benefiting TAB.
Following Fashion Week, TAB is featuring runway fashion available for purchase at the ever-popular “Sample Sale,” which will return on Monday June 28th. Locations, times and details of Fashion Week can be found at www.aidsbenefit.org
TAB is excited to share this innovative show with Telluride and the nationwide community of frontline partners, HIV ambassadors and fashion enthusiasts who support the organization. All funds raised will support local and regional HIV education events, prevention initiatives, client care, and free year-round HIV testing in partnership with medical facilities and pharmacies regionally and across Colorado.
TAB has been raising funds and awareness for 27 years and has remained committed to supporting innovative youth awareness and education initiatives.
In 2021, the Student Fashion Show held safe, in-person auditions and rehearsals, leading to a successful event- “The Stories That Make Us” – filmed and released online and on-demand. The initiative has since raised over $10,000 and is still available for purchase.
Coming this July, TAB will launch year three of its Student HIV Awareness Project, which brings together local students with frontline partners such as Children’s Hospital, Colorado Health Network and Brother Jeff’s Community Health Initiative to engage in meaningful conversations exploring the impact of HIV and AIDS in Colorado.
