The following is a note from TYF director Erika Henschel.
We are thrilled to announce that the 2021 Telluride Yoga Festival IS HAPPENING! We cannot wait to gather again, in community, and celebrate yoga in all of its many forms. Many of us have not been to public gatherings for over a year…There has been intensity, grief, adversity, discovery, re-birthing, and re-imagination. With all that has transpired this past year, this will be a potent and powerful festival. That is why we practice!
Telluride Yoga will take all necessary precautions to ensure the safety of our community while also doing whatever we can to create connection and magic…meaning we will follow all necessary state and local protocols at the time of our event. All venues will be outdoors and almost all at the Telluride High School (primarily in large tents). We will practice at a 6’ distance (masks will not be required on your mat, but as of now, masks are required upon entry and exit of each venue), and we will do all the things to keep this pandemic moving in the right direction. We ask for your cooperation, flexibility, and understanding as we will need to work together to make this event possible.
We are selling a limited number of 3-day tickets at each tier group. We will most likely not be offering 1-day passes. We cannot stress enough that these tickets are LIMITED as capacity will be reduced. Please register NOW for the festival – pass pricing will increase on April 20 or when this tier group sells out.
We also recommend booking lodging as soon as possible as it will be another busy summer in Telluride – check out our lodging page for discounts and options. There are direct flights this summer from Denver, Dallas, Chicago, Houston and Phoenix. Check out the air schedule for more info.
Please visit our lineup page to see the teachers and artists that will be joining us this year. We will announce the schedule mid-May and pass-holders will be able to register for classes at that time along with additional experiential and outdoor offerings.
Yoga is not just about the asana of movement – it’s a connection of mind, body, and spirit – it is the practice of liberation for all beings.
We look forward to seeing all of your beautiful smiling faces soon in Telluride.
