Telluride Med Center: Coronavirus-Related Updates

San Miguel County Public Health needs medical service providers (may be retired) doctors, nurses, MAs, LPNs, behavioral health providers, people who can help run errands for those who may be homebound, and more.

The San Miguel County Department of Public Health continued to operate its Emergency Operations Center under the Board of Commissioners Declaration of Emergency.

County public health officials have the following announcements:

Attention Small Business Owners: The Small Business Owners Association today declared economic disaster assistance for San Miguel County as well as other counties in Colorado. Visit SBA.gov/disaster for more information.

Attention all providers and clients of massage therapy, acupuncture, hair salons, spas and related services:

San Miguel County Health Officials are strongly encouraging providers wear full Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) while performing services (see cdc.gov for detailed information) – or cease operating for at least the next 30 days. Clients should not be visiting these service providers unless necessary. In these services it is not possible to maintain social distancing (at least 6 feet apart) and people can transmit the virus without knowing they are infected. You may be are risk of contracting or spreading the virus.
