Telluride Ski & Golf Resort Hosts Benefit, Tomboy Tavern, 7/28

The Telluride Ski & Golf Resort are hosting a benefit at the Tomboy Tavern in support of the Play for Pink Golf Tournament. P.I.N.K. funds are dedicated to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation for state-of-the-art research, as well as to the Telluride Medical Center Foundation’s Preventative Health Fund. The event, which includes wine tasting and hors d’oeuvres, takes place on Friday, July 28, 3 – 5 p.m. The price of entry is $30, available at the door.

Play for P.I.N.K (Prevention, Immediate diagnosis, New technology and Knowledge) uses lifestyle and sporting events to raise funds for breast cancer research and the Telluride Medical Center Foundation’s Preventive Health Fund.

Each year more than 100 golfers and volunteers show up for the Play for P.I.N.K. Golf Tournament. To date, Play for P.I.N.K. has raised $122,000 for breast cancer research and $136,000 for the Telluride Medical Center Foundation.

When the 12th annual Play for P.I.N.K. Golf Tournament sold out, the Telluride Ski & Golf Resort stepped up to support another event for the cause.

The P.I.N.K. Patio Party at Telski’s Tomboy Tavern includes over 30 global wines to taste and hors d’oeuvres prepared by Tomboy’s great chefs.
