And Telluride WOW returnee Dr. Haley Perlus.
Haley holds a Ph.D. in Sport and Exercise Psychology, an M.S. in Sport Pedagogy (coaching behavior), numerous fitness and coaching certifications. The former elite Alpine ski racer is an expert inspiring, motivating and empowering athletes and teams of all types to achieve peak results.
An adjunct professor at the UCCS, a seminar leader at top sport and fitness conferences, a consultant to National Team and Division I scholarship athletes, an appointed Industry Leader by IHRSA.org, and four-time author, Haley comes to Telluride with one goal in mind: To help you go all the way!
Last year at WOW, I was not only a presenter, I actively participated in numerous sessions, where I expanded my knowledge of fitness and health, met wonderful WOW attendees and pushed my physical limits – all while having a blast!,” said Haley. “In my own presentations, I was pleased with the participant interaction. The connection between everyone involved at WOW continues on throughout the year and I can’t wait to see everyone again and meet new WOW enthusiasts.”
This year at WOW, Dr. Haley Perlus plans to talk about the psychology behind good nutrition and overall health, which she says is similar to the psychology behind sport performance. Attendees can expect to discover unique mental toughness tools everyone can implement immediately and apply in ongoing nutrition and fitness programs at home.
“We will specifically discuss top mindset techniques professional athletes use to achieve high performance and apply them to enhance the performance of WOW participants.”
