YOUR AH HAA MOMENT: SUMMER OF FUN FOR KIDS

YOUR AH HAA MOMENT: SUMMER OF FUN FOR KIDS

Drawing. Painting. Paper Maché. Creating a Superhero. Clay. Screen Printing. Jewelry Making. These are just a few project kids can look forward to at the Ah Haa School this summer.

Ah Haa summer art camps have allowed kids to explore their creativity for over two decades. Nurturing the artistic spirit of young people has been a part of the school’s mission since the beginning and I have to tell you it is one of my favorite times of the year.

During art camps, the historic Depot is filled with children’s laughter and projects, art  that brings sunshine to the grayest of days. Watching young ones create and learn and then present with pride one amazing project after another remind me of the joys and innocence of youth, an unguarded time of no inhibitions.

Our 2012 Summer-At-A-Glance is out and we are taking registrations right now.

Camps run Monday through Thursday with an optional Fabulous Friday each week. Beginning June 4 and ending the week of August 13, the Ah Haa School caters to three age groups, 4-5, 6-, and 9-12.

Ah Haa School’s complete summer catalog is available the beginning of March and promises a season equally enjoyable for adults.
