03 Nov Cover to cover: DIY book publishing forums wrap up
Telluwriter R.J. Rubadeau leads final forum
You can count on a happy ending tonight, when local author R.J. Rubadeau leads the fourth and final discussion about self-publishing called Community Publishing 101. The forums were presented jointly by the Wilkinson Public Library, Telluride Writers Guild, Between the Covers Bookstore, Telluride Inside…and Out and Beacon Hill Publishers.
Tonight’s class will be held at 6 p.m. at the program room in the library. Nearly 50 writers attended the seminars and this final class will cover the logistical and business aspects of book printing, viral marketing, social networking markets, and the final distribution of the finished product.
Rubadeau’s own book, Gatsby’s Last Resort: A Telluride Murder Mystery, should be on shelves next month. Stay tuned to TIO for information about the booksigning and an interview with the author about the project.
