A journey of discovery is always a good idea, even in Telluride, and one I am always up for. Ah Haa School for the Arts supporter, instructor, artist and all around amazing woman Susie Billings is leading one such journey this September. Lucky Ah Haa students will travel to the art mecca of southwest, Taos, New Mexico. Be inspired by the landscape and culture that has influenced so many American artists, Susie will guide us on a journey of our own. In the way only she can, Susie will help us to take in what we see, feel, smell and sense in Taos and translate it into our own creative expression. This one-of-a-kind experience will commence with the last two days being spent at Georgia O’Keeffe’s Ghost Ranch, a world renowned artist retreat center.
