She’s into fabulous fakes. Ashley Deppen of Telluride’s hot clothing emporium, Two Skirts, is taking about faux furs for fall/winter. (Nice alliteration, no?)
It all began on the Chanel runway: models draped head to toe in faux. Since then, faux furs began breeding like, well, minks. During the fall 2010/winter 2011 season, fashionistas will find faux in dresses, capes, jackets, vests, boots and bags.
“Many of us would rather go naked than wear fur, but thankfully to today’s fashionistas, faux fur is remarkably similar to the real thing,” said Ashley.
