31 Jul Telluride Adaptive Sports Program supports Colorado Peace Ride
Several volunteers from Telluride Adaptive Sports Program got up early to help man the aid station at the top of Lizard Head Pass for the riders on the four day Colorado Peace Ride on Saturday, July 31, 2010. The Ride was in its third day, with an early morning launch from Telluride, en route to the next overnight stop in Cortez.
Telluride Inside… and Out was on hand to assist and to get some photos of the riders at their first stop for the day. Several participants were surprised that they had already logged most of the day's uphill when they reached the Pass. Surprised, and mostly pretty happy.
More photos can be seen on Telluride Inside… and Out's Facebook page.
Check out the video and post from last year's ride.
