Telluride’s designing women head for New Zealand

Telluride locals, Amy Jean Boebel and Sue Hobby are on the way to New Zealand. The sculptor and the fiber artist recycled and fashioned garments from aluminum steel that were accepted into WOW, the World of Wearable Art Awards Show, the most prestigious event on the international design, fashion, and costume calendar.

Telluride Inside… and Out is pleased to provide the platform, so fans and supporters of two talented designers can follow the ladies' progress, as they take Wellington by storm.

Designing women: first post from Boebel, September 21

OK – it could be worse…I am drinking a mimosa, watching the planes come and go and thinking about my first "flat white"  in a cozy New Zealand coffee cafe.  Just a short 18 or so hours from now I touch down in Auckland, meet up with Luci and Sue, and invade Wellington…looking forward to discovering the latest and greatest in Kiwi designed fashion.
