Susan’s byline has been mostly missing from the pages of Telluride Inside… and Out for the past few weeks. She has been deeply involved with the final two weeks of her two year program to receive teaching certification in her chosen yoga lineage, the American Viniyoga Institute.

Yesterday, August 23, I was privileged to witness the graduation ceremonies (leader Gary Kraftsow preferred to call it a “commencement”) at Mount Madonna Center, near Santa Cruz, California, as 42 people were honored for their commitment to their training. It was an emotional experience, not only for the participants but for their family members and friends.

Now, Susan and I are making our way home to Telluride, and TIO readers will once again be hearing Susan’s familiar voice on this site. Stay tuned…
