A note from Rabbi Ken

Rabbi, courtesy TJC.

Dear Telluride Community,

Hinda and I wanted to thank everyone at TJC for the warm welcome we received as well as the connection we felt with the community during High Holiday services.

From the Dolly Parton Adon Olam to inspiring words from Elliott Portnoy, not to mention our stroll and learn discussing the happiness prayer, we definitely shared a sweet beginning to the new year.

Meanwhile, thanks to the musical contributions of Adrienne Browning and the touching words of Dr. Stephen Wise, our Yom Kippur services had a significant emotional impact felt by everyone in attendance.

TJC has come a long way in the two years we’ve been with you for High Holidays including the marvelous new High Holiday prayer books and having a superb venue for services in the Telluride Science Center.

And we’re certain that there will be many more memorable moments awaiting your uniquely special Jewish community in this new year.

L’Shanah Habaah B’Telluride…may we gather again next year,

Rabbi Ken & Hinda
