The Meditations, legendary Jamaican vocal group and one of the defining harmony acts of reggae’s golden era, play the Sheridan Opera House.
Formed in Kingston, Jamaica, in the 1970s, The Meditations are celebrated for their distinctive three-part vocal harmonies and their contributions to reggae’s golden era. Their music blends roots reggae with elements of rocksteady and soul, carrying messages of love, unity, spirituality and social consciousness.
The group has worked alongside and recorded with some of reggae’s most influential artists, including Bob Marley, Lee “Scratch” Perry and Bunny Wailer, and their catalog remains an important part of reggae history.

The Sheridan Opera House’s SHOW Bar proudly hosts free summer patio shows to keep the arts accessible to all. This year, from June through September, they’re enhancing the series—on one Thursday of each month, the event will expand to Oak Street Park, featuring bigger bands, cold drinks, and community connection along the alpenglow. Grab your chairs, blankets, and buddies.

Pink Talking Fish brings together the music of three iconic bands—Pink Floyd, The Talking Heads and Phish—in a dynamic live experience that blends progressive rock, funk, psychedelia and improvisation.
Known for their high-energy performances and creative mashups, the band puts a unique spin on beloved songs while honoring the spirit and musicianship of all three legendary acts.
