When legendary New Orleans songwriter and bandleader Dave Jordan collaborates with his Colorado musician friends, the Bayou Mountain Ramblers is born.
No stranger to Telluride, Dave has been performing out here since the late 90s, including multiple sets at the Blues and Brews Festival. The New Orleans native is part of the fabric of the Big Easy’s world-renowned music scene and culture.
Dave freely incorporates elements of rock, blues, funk, jam, Americana, country, and folk music, all with a rhythmic foundation that reflects his South Louisiana upbringing. The result is a colorful tapestry of American roots music through New Orleans.
For his performance at Music On The Green, Dave is joined by local favorite and Montrose native, Donny Morales on harmonica, and mystic phenom Cody Russell on pedal steel and banjo.
