“Noche De Luz” is designed as an immersive celebration of our region’s diversity. Attendees will enjoy tapas and dessert provided by locally owned restaurants and catering companies with global roots. Alongside these culinary offerings, the evening will feature custom-crafted cocktails and mocktails, and visual artist demonstrations and displays. Local DJ Beats by LART (Luis Tavares) will open the night, followed by a performance from Denver’s Los Mocochetes, a five-piece self-described “Chicano Funk” band.

Beyond providing an energetic platform for diverse local businesses and artists, the event serves a vital local purpose. All proceeds from “Noche De Luz” will support the work of Thrive’s Multicultural Advocacy Programs, guided by and offered in partnership with the community group, Raíces sin Fronteras. The initiatives to be supported include the Driver’s License Academy, Semana de Bienestar (Wellness Week), and Immigration Legal Services. (More information on these programs is available on Thrive’s website above.)

The event theme is “Comunidad en Flor” (“Community in Bloom”) and aims to celebrate the vibrant, diverse community blooming in the Telluride area and beyond.

“Noche De Luz is more than a fundraiser; it is a reflection of the brightness and resilience that culturally diverse families bring to our region,” said Melanie Montoya Wasserman, Co-Executive Director of Advocacy & Inclusion. “As we transition into our new chapter as Thrive Community Health Network, our commitment to inclusive health equity and multicultural advocacy is stronger than ever. We look forward to gathering with our neighbors to celebrate, support, and invest in our community’s shared future.”

The event is made possible by Presenting Sponsor, Community Banks of Colorado.

“Community Banks of Colorado is excited to be partnering with Thrive to be the presenting sponsor of ‘Noche de Luz,'” said Tricia Maxon, Market President. “As a Colorado based community bank, we believe in giving back and supporting our local communities.”

About Thrive Community Health Network

Thrive Community Health Network (formerly Tri County Health Network) believes health is more than healthcare. The non-profit organization helps individuals and families navigate health and social systems by connecting them with the resources and support needed to thrive. Whether it’s health insurance, mental health services, food, housing, transportation, or immigration legal assistance, Thrive is here to help neighbors find answers and access the services that improve health and wellbeing.

About Raíces Sin Fronteras

Raíces Sin Fronteras (Roots Without Borders) is a community-rooted collective that walks alongside Latine immigrant communities across Colorado’s rural Western Slope, cultivating belonging, healing, and collective power. The core belief is that communities who have endured displacement, exploitation, and exclusion also carry the wisdom to shape more just and life-giving futures. Through every gathering, conversation, and act of accompaniment,  seeds of hope, empowerment, wellness, and liberation are nurtured.

Believing that what is cultivated with love in community continues to blossom far beyond any single moment.
