01 Aug Telluride Arts: Augment Music Project 2026 Grant Recipients!
A fiscal sponsee of Telluride Arts founded in 2020, Augment Music Project is dedicated to supporting the local music scene in the Telluride area.
Since 2023, Augment Music Project has offered funding through Telluride Arts annual grant program, providing the funding and grant committee for the music category with a strong emphasis on the community impact of each application.
Augment coordinates and funds a variety of community-focused shows throughout the year, including the weekly Telluride Farmer’s Market and the FREE Summer Concert Series in Elks Park. Augment is always looking for opportunities to support local musicians and enhance events.

AMY VANDERBOSCH

Project: Telluride Choral Society VOCES8 Foundation Workshop
Telluride Choral Society will offer a two-day choral workshop and public concert in partnership with Paul Smith, co-founder and CEO of the internationally acclaimed VOCES8 Foundation, and his wife, flutist Daniela Mars. This immersive program will bring world-class choral artistry directly to the Telluride community through a workshop day with their Chorale. Culminating concert the following day, open to the public.

Project: Atari Safari
Atari Safari is preparing to release an album of original music with a public launch in Telluride this fall/winter season. Grant support will fund collaboration with local designer Malarie Clark to create original album artwork and packaging for a limited-edition vinyl pressing, celebrating the band’s music through a distinctly local creative partnership.
Project highlights the strength of Telluride’s artistic community, bringing together local musicians, designers, and supporters while creating a lasting record that reflects the place and people who helped shape Atari Safari’s sound.

Project: Performance + Sound Equipment
Travis Fisher will expand his live performance setup with new sound reinforcement and electronic performance tools, enabling him to combine piano, synthesizers, looping, and live processing into a more immersive musical experience. These upgrades will enhance future performances throughout the region while opening new creative possibilities for improvisation and collaboration.
The project will support the continued evolution of Fisher’s live performances while enriching the region’s vibrant music community.
