30 Jul Mountain Village: Safe Communities & National Nite Out, 8/4!
The Mountain Village Police Department, Telluride Fire Protection District and Village Court Apartments are teaming up once again to host the fourteenth annual National Night Out on Tuesday, August 4 from 5 to 8 p.m.

The community is invited to join their neighbors, law enforcement and fire department teams at the Mountain Village Fire Station (411 Mountain Village Boulevard) for a free barbeque (hamburgers and hot dogs) and family-friendly fun. Event features ice cream social, bouncy castle and tours of a police car, fire truck and ambulance.
National Night Out, a part of the National Association of Town Watch, involves over 38 million people in 16,000-plus communities from all 50 states, U.S. territories, Canadian cities and military bases worldwide.
“National Night Out gives our community a fantastic chance to connect with local first responders,” said Mountain Village Police Chief Chris Broady. “Residents will learn what resources are available to them, get an up-close look at our emergency response equipment and build those important relationships with the people who serve them. It’s one of our favorite nights of the year.”
