Palm Arts: “The Mountain Ark: A Ken Bailey Film,” 6/29!

Join Palm Arts for a special free community screening of “The Mountain Ark,” Ken Bailey’s moving new documentary that premiered in Mountainfilm 2026 Wild Shorts program. It returns by popular demand in its full 60-minute version.

Admission is free and open to the community. Voluntary contributions to The PSA Project are appreciated but not expected.

The Mountain Ark follows one of Telluride’s most beloved figures, Lissa Margetts, through a day at her wildlife rehabilitation sanctuary. Fiercely independent and deeply connected to animals, she navigates moments of rescue, loss, and unexpected joy, revealing a life devoted to healing, community, and the fragile bond between humans and the wild.

The evening will also feature a curated collection of Ken Bailey’s films celebrating unforgettable Telluride characters, public safety and educational films produced through his nonprofit, The lisA Project, and some of his most iconic footage capturing the power, beauty, and drama of avalanches.
