“Our residents don’t just live in Telluride, they define it,” said Town Manager Zoe Dohnal. “This survey turns community values into real policy, and every voice strengthens that foundation. We encourage all of our residents to participate as the future we plan today is the town you’ll experience tomorrow.”

The National Community Survey (NCS), administered by Polco, captures resident feedback on key areas including the economy, mobility, community design, utilities, safety, natural environment, and overall livability. Results will highlight Telluride’s strengths, identify areas for improvement, and help prioritize services and investments. The survey also allows the Town to compare results with communities across the country.

All residents will receive a mailed invitation with instructions to complete the survey online by visiting bit.ly/totsurvey26. Paper surveys will follow soon after for those who prefer to participate by mail.

Results from previous Community Surveys are available on the Town of Telluride website and provide insight into trends over time and community priorities.

“This survey is only as useful as the number of people who take it,” Dohnal said. “We encourage every resident to carve out a few minutes to help paint a complete picture of what residents are experiencing and expecting.”
