Newly announced artists include Eggy, Nether Hour, The Harlem Gospel Travelers, Derrick Dove & The Peacekeepers, Ken Valdez, Katie Skene, Alex Maryol and Albert White. They join more than 30 previously announced performers, including headliners Marcus King Band, Taj Mahal & Keb’ Mo’, and Jon Batiste, along with Daniel Donato’s Cosmic Country, The Record Company and Samantha Fish.

The festival has also revealed its stand-up comedy lineup featuring Troy Walker, Hannah Jones, Baron Vaughn and Kiran Deol.

“These additions are the perfect way to round out our lineup and complement the headliners and musical themes throughout the weekend,” said Festival Director Steve Gumble. “For example, red-hot jam band Eggy joins artists like G. Love & Special Sauce, Daniel Donato’s Cosmic Country and Marcus King Band on the Main Stage Friday for a contemporary, jam- and rock-leaning day. Saturday really highlights the blues, headlined by the legendary Taj Mahal & Keb’ Mo’, with sets from The Record Company, Charlie Musselwhite & GA-20, Eddie 9V and more. Sunday brings us home with heavy soul and exceptional guitar work from Louisiana greats Jon Batiste and Tab Benoit, along with blues standouts Samantha Fish and DK Harrell.”

Staying true to the festival’s ethos, the weekend features three days and four nights of live music across four stages, five late-night “Juke Joint” venues, multiple craft beer tastings, outdoor recreation, fundraisers and more. A detailed schedule including times and locations is available at tellurideblues.com/schedule.

Thursday, September 17

The festival kicks off with a fundraiser dinner benefiting the Music Maker Foundation, featuring an intimate performance from a traditional blues artist, dinner from Bravo TV’s Top Chef Eliza Gavin and a chance to meet founder of the foundation, Tim Duffy. Music Maker is a 501(c)(3) organization that supports the day-to-day needs of artists who create traditional American music, ensures their voices are heard and provides broader access to America’s hidden musical treasures.

The evening also includes a six-course beer-pairing dinner at the Madeline Hotel featuring live music from Myron Elkins and conversation with representatives from six attending breweries. This year’s opening show, Bal De Maison, will showcase an exclusive performance by Daniel Donato’s Cosmic Country at the historic Sheridan Opera House.

Friday, September 18

Contemporary blues, jam and rock take center stage on Friday with a Main Stage lineup featuring Marcus King Band, Daniel Donato’s Cosmic Country, G. Love & Special Sauce, Eggy, Greyhounds and more.

Attendees can also enjoy traditional blues performances on the indoor Blues Stage located within the festival grounds, while campers can experience two performances, exclusive to campers only, on a scenic stage nestled between an aspen forest and the banks of the San Miguel River inside the campground.

Craft beer fans can enjoy two afternoon tasting sessions featuring unlimited samples from more than 25 breweries, a special showcase from the Colorado Brewers Guild and more. Festival bars will also offer a rotating selection of craft beers from attending breweries, rare releases from Sierra Nevada Brewing Co., and a full cocktail and wine menu.

When the Main Stage closes for the night, the entertainment continues around town at four Juke Joints and one stand-up comedy venue. These after-hours clubs include several of Telluride’s best indoor music spaces and bars, all within walking distance of each other and Telluride Town Park.

Saturday, September 19

Day two begins with the 5K fundraiser race, Blisters & Blues, benefiting the Telluride Adaptive Sports Program, followed by Blues for Breakfast and the Telluride Blues Challenge Finals.

The finals feature six unsigned blues musicians competing for top honors, including a Main Stage performance slot, a spot on the Durango Blues Train, a cash prize and additional opportunities.

Saturday’s Main Stage lineup celebrates the blues and is anchored by legendary headliner duo Taj Mahal & Keb’ Mo’. Additional performances include The Record Company, Charlie Musselwhite & GA-20, Eddie 9V and more. Attendees can also enjoy four Blues Stage sets and three campground performances.

Craft beer fans can once again enjoy two tasting sessions, including a special High-ABV, rare and wild beer showcase.

Late-night Juke Joint shows and stand-up comedy performances continue throughout town after the music on the Main Stage.

Sunday, September 20

The final day features a full lineup headlined by Jon Batiste, and complemented by Tab Benoit, Samantha Fish, Nether Hour and DK Harrell. The day begins with a gospel performance from The Harlem Gospel Travelers, along with additional sets on the Blues Stage and Campground Stage.

The festival concludes with the closing show, Fais Do Do, featuring a special performance by Eddie 9V at the historic Sheridan Opera House.

Daniel Donato’s Cosmic Country
Thursday, September 17, 2026 at 9:00 PM (Opening Show – Bal De Maison – Sheridan Opera House)
Friday, September 18, 2026 from 6:10-7:20 PM (Main Stage)

What, you ask, is Cosmic Country? In a lively interview and absolutely smoking live set on World Café last year, Daniel Donato sagely holds forth. The guitarist explains that it is “a frequency, of sorts,” and goes on to say the band’s hyper-drive approach to its outlaw country-bluegrass-psychedelic sound is a bridge between “what is chaotic and what is orderly. The cosmos is the very definition of what is unknown.”

Daniel honed his considerable chops in Nashville, first as a teenaged busker, and then working an endless string of four-hour sets with Don Kelly’s band at Robert’s Western World. He emerged from that experience a seasoned veteran well before turning 30. Moreover, Daniel is a guitarist who came to learn how discipline, dedication and band dynamics can create unexpected musical moments in a live setting. As he notes, no two sets Cosmic Country delivers will ever be the same. He’s a wicked good picker, an imaginative songwriter and his band – Will “Mustang” McGee(bass/vocals), Nathan “Sugarleg” Aronowitz (keyboards/guitar/vocals), and Will “Bronco” Clark (drums/vocals) – is straight-up lit. This, my friends, will be a “don’t miss it” set.
