Telluride’s Sheridan Arts Foundation is proud to present the 26th Annual Telluride Comedy Festival, returning to the historic Sheridan Opera House over Presidents’ Day Weekend, February 12–15, 2026. Celebrating more than two decades of bringing world-class comedy to the San Juan Mountains, this beloved festival continues its tradition of pairing nationally recognized comedians with Telluride’s intimate and unforgettable performance setting.

Thursday Locals’ Night + Improv:
As per Comedy Fest tradition, the festival opens with our all-star lineup paying tribute to the people who live and work here and make Telluride the special, quirky place that it is. Join us for a fun-filled evening performed for those who make this town tick. This show is a lively mix of characters, sketches, stand-up, and improv that celebrates (and lovingly pokes fun at) the place we all call home. But you don’t have to be a local to attend!

Friday Night Stand-Up + Improv:
Friday night brings a stacked evening of stand-up and improv featuring some of today’s sharpest comedic voices. Expect quick wit, unpredictable moments, and plenty of crowd interaction as the performers take the stage individually and then come together for collaborative improv.

Stick around after the show for a Free After-Show hosted by Fig Telluride in the SHOW Bar, open to the public and perfect for keeping the laughs going late into the night.
Saturday Valentine’s Show + Improv:
Celebrate Valentine’s Day Telluride-style with an unforgettable night of comedy hosted by Comedy Fest favorites Rob Huebel and Paul Scheer. Whether you’re celebrating romance, friendship, or just your love of laughter, this special holiday performance delivers big personalities, outrageous characters, and hilarious improv featuring the full cast.

Home of the Telluride Comedy Festival
Since 1999, the Sheridan Opera House has served as the official home of the Telluride Comedy Festival. Each year, the Sheridan Arts Foundation partners with festival co-director Jeb Berrier to curate four nights of exceptional comedy performances.
The festival is known for attracting some of the country’s most talented comedians while maintaining the grassroots charm and unique spirit that define Telluride.
VIP cocktail tables are available for an intimate and immersive comedy experience where audience members may find themselves part of the show.
The Telluride Comedy Festival continues to be a highlight of winter in Telluride, drawing visitors and locals alike for an unforgettable weekend of laughter in one of Colorado’s most iconic venues.
