Telluride Ski and Golf Company and the Telluride Professional Ski Patrol Association reached an agreement on Thursday, January 8, ending the ongoing labor dispute and work stoppage. With that good news, Saturday, January 10, the resort will open Lift 7 for public access purposes and Lift 4 including with the additional runs of Butterfly, Lower Misty Maiden, and Boomerang.
The resort will then work on opening the “Super Loop” including Lifts 5 and 6 and expects additional lifts and terrain to follow.
Good Neighbor Fund
In response to growing community needs, the Town of Telluride is partnering with the Telluride Foundation to issue rent support to tenants in Town-owned rental housing through the Foundation’s Good Neighbor Fund (GNF).
All rent support approved through the fund will be reimbursed by the Town’s Affordable Housing Fund to ensure the Good Neighbor Fund remains robust and available to all.
The Telluride Foundation’s Good Neighbor Fund issues up to $2,500 every twelve months to help with emergency needs, including rent or mortgage payments, utility bills, car repairs, medical bills, food or other essential expenses. The fund is available to individuals who live or work in San Miguel County, Ouray County, West End of Montrose County, or Rico, who can demonstrate residency of one year or employment in the region beginning no later than December 15, 2025, and who are experiencing a non-recurring financial emergency related to hardship.

Resources include local, state, and federal assistance channels for rent and mortgage assistance, income replacement, mental health and crisis support, food assistance, and more.
