On Friday, January 30, longtime Telluride favorite Cousin Curtiss returns to Club Red.
The powerhouse duo delivers a high-voltage blend of roots rock, blues, and Americana—often described as Mumford & Sons colliding with AC/DC.

Featuring Curtiss on rapid-fire acoustic guitar, incendiary harmonica, and a kick drum that hits like a cannon, alongside guitarist Harrison B, whose tone channels the atmospheric sweep of David Gilmour with the grit of Gary Clark Jr. The two create a surprisingly massive wall of sound. Raw, soulful, and relentlessly energetic, Cousin Curtiss doesn’t just play music—the band ignites it. Think “blues at bluegrass speeds” or “rock Americana with a soulful drip,” brought vividly to life on stage.
On Saturday, January 31, acclaimed singer-songwriter Emily Scott Robinson returns to Club Red for a special release celebration in support of her fifth studio album, “Appalachia.”

Robinson’s talent is no surprise to the music industry — she’s now a veteran touring artist, both at home and abroad. Her records “Traveling Mercies” (2019) and “American Siren” (2021) each landed high on Rolling Stone’s “Best Country and Americana Albums” and Stereogum’s “10 Best Country Albums” year-end lists.
Emily been lauded by the Washington Post, Billboard, American Songwriter and No Depression, and earned the 19th spot on NPR’s “100 Best Songs of 2021” with her song “Let ‘Em Burn.”
Marking her third release with John Prine’s Oh Boy Records and a decade into her career, Robinson continues to showcase her remarkable gift for storytelling and emotional depth. Recorded at Dreamland Recording Studios with Grammy-nominated producer Josh Kaufman, “Appalachia” finds Robinson embracing new creative territory while singing in her crystal-clear voice about resilience, love, grief, and hope.
