Directed by Leah Heidenreich, this delightfully dark musical comedy follows the misadventures of Lydia Deetz, a strange and unusual teenager who summons a certain striped-suited ghost with the most.

Expect laughs, spooky antics, and hauntingly good performances as Telluride’s talented young actors take the stage.

“And listen up—Beetlejuice here,” our ghostly guest might say. “It’s showtime. You’ll scream, you’ll laugh, you’ll wish you bought your tickets sooner. Don’t blame me if your friends say: ‘You missed the show?’… I told you to grab your seats!”

The Young People’s Theater program at the Sheridan Arts Foundation provides student performers with professional-level theater experiences, fostering creativity, discipline, and confidence both on and off the stage. With Beetlejuice JR., these middle schoolers are conjuring powerful performances that prove even the afterlife can be full of life.

So go ahead—take the plunge, switch on the lights, and don’t worry about opening any mysterious doors. Just join us at the Sheridan Opera House and relish the bizarre, brilliant, musical mayhem of Beetlejuice JR.

It’s showtime!
