Mountain Village: Building Permit for Four Seasons Issued!

Following the successful closing on the land acquisition and construction loan, the Town of Mountain Village has officially issued a building permit for the highly anticipated Four Seasons Private Residences and Hotel. The milestone clears the way for excavation and shoring to begin.

The development team will share weekly construction updates via a dedicated website: bit.ly/4SeasonsConstruction. The site also includes contact information for residents and stakeholders with questions or concerns.

The landmark project will be led by Weitz Construction on behalf of developers Fort Partners and Merrimac Ventures LLC. Plans call for 28 private residences, 41 hotel residences, and 52 hotel rooms, complemented by two signature restaurants, upscale retail space and a world-class spa.

“This fall marks the culmination of 30 years of vision and dedication to reach this moment,” said Mountain Village Town Manager Paul Wisor. “This site has always been envisioned as the cornerstone of our community, and it has been remarkable to watch Town staff work with such dedication to make that vision become reality.”

Construction Timeline and Community Impact:

Excavation activity will result in increased traffic in and out of the project site over the next 18 months. Overall construction is expected to take three to four years, with the Town of Mountain Village providing updates at key milestones.

“We recognize that all development projects, whether a large hotel or a single-family home, bring some level of impact to the community,” said Dev Motwani, Managing Partner of Merrimac Ventures. “Our commitment is to minimize those impacts where possible and to maintain open communication with our neighbors. We want residents to be informed and to share feedback so we can continue to improve.”
