Through a new partnership with Norwood Parks and Rec, Telluride Chamber Music is thrilled to be bringing concerts to the West End for the first time.

The concerts will be held in the beautiful outside space at The Livery (or inside if there’s weather), with audience members encouraged to bring picnics, blankets and enjoy “Chill with Chamber Music!”.

Telluride Chamber Music has already experienced great support from the Norwood community for the concerts with local businesses and foundations stepping up to support the concerts.

Residents of Telluride can also look forward to a new version of the Happy Hours this summer with concerts being held on the deck of Telluride Science and Innovation Center. A space that has quickly become a centre of the community and a gorgeous setting for live music.

The Happy Hour series started in 2021 with a focus on a free event that brings chamber music into the community in a relaxed and informal atmosphere that supports local musicians. It has become a beloved part of the Telluride Chamber Music calendar.

‘Chill with Chamber Music‘ Series kicks off on July 17th with Mary Beth Mueller (violin), Claire Beard (flute) and Travis Fisher (piano). Performances will be 6-7PM, free and open to the public. Community Concerts at the Telluride Science Center start on August 21, 5:30pm with Danny DeSantis (viola), Steve White (cello) and Travis Fisher (piano)

“After the success of our Chamber Music Happy Hour series, we’re really excited to be bringing this series to new spaces. Both venues are great and we have a wonderful line-up of Artists.” She continues, “The relaxed atmosphere of the concerts makes it the perfect way to finish a work or adventure day, and with free admission the whole series is accessible to the entire Telluride and now Norwood community,” said Claire Beard, Executive Director,Telluride Chamber Music.
