The musicians will perform over two days, culminating in a concert at the Sheridan Opera House Saturday, July 26, 7pm. The concert will feature music by beloved composers including Bach, Ravel and Gershwin.
The quintet will also perform earlier that day at the Wilkinson Public Library in a free children’s concert, with a fantastic arrangement of Prokofiev’s “Peter and the Wolf,” a beloved musical story for children with narrator.
Ryan Heidenreich of Telluride Theatre will be stepping into the narrator role in a new collaboration between Telluride Chamber Music and Telluride Theatre. This concert is a great chance for kids in the community to be inspired by world-class chamber artists.
The piece will also feature at a special members’ event held at Telluride Historical Museum the night before, where patrons will get their own chance to try narrating with the quintet!
