“Rescued Hearts” tells the true story of a non-verbal, 7-year-old boy who spoke his first words while connecting with a horse. It’s a story about awakening, connection, and the power of presence.

And “Rescued Hearts” beautifully mirrors the work Grace Reins does at Erin Cain’s ranch every day. It shines a light on the kind of hope, connection, and quiet miracles that happen when people and horses meet each other in their most honest, vulnerable places.

The evening is also a celebration of Grace Reins’ 5th anniversary and a fundraiser to help us raise $50,000 to continue its equine therapy programs and rescue efforts.

“The event isn’t just about a film. It’s about gathering the Telluride community together in celebration of resilience, love, and the sacred ways healing shows up when we need it most. It’s also an opportunity to help us continue this mission — proceeds from the evening will directly support Grace Reins’ equine therapy programs and wild horse rescue efforts.

“Grace Reins has set a goal to raise $50,000 to mark its 5th anniversary. Your presence — whether in person or in spirit — means more than you can know. I would be so honored if you would join us for this meaningful evening. Bring your friends, your family, your love for horses, and your open hearts,” said Erin Cain, founder/owner/visionary.

For the record, Erin is an equine specialist in mental health and learning.
