The Town of Telluride has launched its second annual community survey to gather resident feedback on government services and measure the quality of life in the community. The Town plans to use this data to guide its strategic planning efforts and ensure its work aligns with community priorities.
“Hearing directly from residents helps us shape Telluride’s future in a way that reflects the needs and values of the community,” said Town Manager Zoe Dohnal. “We encourage everyone to participate so we can use this input to inform decisions that improve life in Telluride.”
The National Community Survey (NCS), developed by the National Research Center at Polco, captures community opinions on the economy, mobility, community design, utilities, safety, natural environment, inclusivity, engagement, and other aspects of Telluride’s overall livability. Results will highlight Telluride’s strengths, identify areas for improvement, and showcase what matters most to residents. Town will also be able to compare its performance to other communities across the country.
All residents have been mailed survey invitations with access to the digital survey, which can also be completed by visiting bit.ly/totsurvey25. Paper surveys have also been mailed for those interested in completing their survey offline.
“We strongly encourage all residents to take the survey,” Dohnal said. “The more people who participate, the better data we will have to guide the Town’s planning and decision-making.”
