This cherished tradition was started by the late Adam Max, a longtime local and former board member of the Sheridan Arts Foundation.

Adam believed that the arts should be accessible to all, regardless of income. In his honor, the Sheridan Arts Foundation continues to host one or two of these community events\ each year, ensuring that everyone has a chance to enjoy live music in an intimate, historic setting.

Telluride’s own Joint Point has been captivating audiences since 2008 with their genre-defying sound and high-energy performances.

Known for their seamless blend of jam, reggae, dance rock, and improvisation, the band delivers a unique experience every time they take the stage. Their electrifying light show and dynamic setlists make them a must-see act and a staple of Telluride’s thriving local music scene.

Sheridan Arts Foundation, more:

The Sheridan Arts Foundation was founded in 1991 as a 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization to preserve the historic Sheridan Opera House as an arts and cultural resource for the Telluride community; to bring quality arts and cultural events to Telluride; and to provide local and national youth with access and exposure to the arts through education.

The Sheridan Arts Foundation is sponsored in part by grants from the CCAASE, Colorado Creative Industries, the Town of Mountain Village, Just for Kids Foundation and Telluride Foundation.
