Healthy Soils Community Event:

Join EcoAction Partners, Patagonia Telluride, and Zero Food Print, with support from San Miguel County for a Healthy Soils Community Event Thursday, October 10th.

5-5:45 Join us at Patagonia Telluride for happy hour and, food and chance to enter to win Patagonia giveaways! There will be a table of resources on this topic as well including compost opportunities in our community.
6-6:45 Film screening of Kiss the Ground at the Wilkinson Public Library
6:45-7:15 Q&A with expert panel followed by film at the Wilkinson Public Library

Electronic Waste Recycling: 

Telluride Oct. 11 & 12 from 10AM-2PM Carhenge parking lot, now accepting scrap metal!
Mountain Village Oct. 11 from 10AM- 2PM Bridge to the Gondola Parking Garage
Norwood Oct. 12 from 10AM-2PM San Miguel County Fairgrounds
$30 TV fee at all locations
Scrap metal only accepted in Telluride

Mountain Village & Town of Telluride EV Ride & Drive 

Residents and visitors can ride, drive and interact with electric vehicles on Friday, October 11 The Towns of Telluride and Mountain Village, in collaboration with Four Corners Office for Resource Efficiency (4CORE) and EcoAction Partners, are pleased to announce an Electric Vehicle (EV) Ride and Drive event.

Happens on Friday, October 11, 2024, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

The event will be held in Telluride at the Carhenge Parking Lot.

Coffee & Climate Conversations (water in the west): 

Come learn about local and basin-wide issues impacting the Colorado river and its tributaries from 8:30-9:30 am Thursday October 25th at the Wilkinson Public Library.

EcoAction will be joined by author o “Life After Deadpool” and “Confluence,” Zak Podmore, as well as local watershed advocates.

The objective is to discuss the changing landscapes of water in the west and what the future holds.

Free coffee, tea and pastries provided!

All ages welcome and encouraged!
