The Holiday Concert Series is the largest fundraiser of the year for the Sheridan Arts Foundation, the 501(c)(3) non-profit that owns and operates the historic Sheridan Opera House. Each year, the SAF programs world-class concerts for the week after Christmas ending with the best party in Telluride, the New Year’s Eve Gala.

The Sheridan Arts Foundation will count down to 2024 at the Motown New Year’s Eve Gala with the Motortown All-Stars. The night includes a glass of champagne, light fare and some of the greatest hits of all time like “My Girl,” “Tears of a Clown,” “Signed Sealed Delivered,” and “You Can’t Hurry Love” from former members of the Temptations, the Miracles and the Contours.

Leading up to New Year’s Eve, Grammy-winner Shawn Colvin kicks off the week on December 27, followed by Grammy-nominee Jewel on December 28.

Latin hip-hop/rockers and multi-Grammy winners Ozomatli bring the party on December 29 and Brass Queens take us to New Orleans on December 30.

Jewel will host a separate dinner to fundraise for her “Inspiring Children Foundation’ on December 27. Tickets for the dinner will also be for sale through the SAF website.

Sheridan Arts Foundation, more:

The Sheridan Arts Foundation was founded in 1991 as a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization to preserve the historic Sheridan Opera House as an arts and cultural resource for the Telluride community, to bring quality arts and cultural events to Telluride and to provide local and national youth with access and exposure to the arts through education. The Sheridan Arts Foundation is sponsored in part by grants from the CCAASE, Colorado Creative Industries, the Telluride Foundation, and an American Rescue Plan Act grant from the National Endowment for the Arts to support general operating expenses in response to the COVID-19 pandemic.
