The Just for Kids Foundation or JFK is excited to announce that their annual fundraiser, the Mountains to the Desert Classic bike ride (M2D), is celebrating its 20th Anniversary on Saturday, September 23, 2023. A 501(c)(3) established in 1999 and based in Telluride, Colorado, JFK serves the San Miguel Watershed region and provides essential scholarships, operating grants, program support, capital and start-up funding, and equipment to deserving youth and youth organizations throughout the county.

The M2D bike ride is JFK’s only funding event, and JFK’s fundraising goal for the 20th M2D ride is $200K. Thanks to generous support from sponsors and donors, M2D 2023 has raised $150K so far. Please consider a donation today to support the youths of San Miguel County!

The annual M2D bike ride from Telluride or Norwood to Gateway takes place every September and is indisputably one of the most beautiful road rides in the country. Join for this cherished local event and immerse yourself in Colorado’s breathtaking fall beauty and majestic landscapes as you ride either 74, 103 or 133 miles of gentle, quiet roads. Saddle up alongside your friends and family for the best Gran Fondo of Western Colorado. You’ll be fully supported all the way, with a finish line of great food by La Cocina de Luz and music by local favorite Disco Fuego.

Participants of all ages and experience levels are encouraged to join. Riders age 21 and under receive a 50% discount on their registration fee. On September 23rd, bring friends and family, form a team, participate as a rider fundraiser, and help JFK celebrate the 20th Anniversary of M2D!
