The Telluride Adaptive Sports Program is pleased to introduce the first of a new signature soiree series, “Sip, Eat & Empower!” The inaugural event takes place Friday, July 28, 2023, 7pm, in Mountain Village. Participants will enjoy specialty food, wine, music, and listen to an energizing presenter from the adaptive community.
Come to “Sip, Eat, & Empower” for tastes of inspiration, and full servings of gratitude.
“We are thrilled to kick-off our soiree series with amazing food, wine and conversation,” says Courtney Stuecheli, Executive Director. “We welcome Kyle Step, adaptive athlete, accessibility advocate and all-around superhero as our presenter. Kyle, a worldclass Paratriathlete, always loved cycling, but took It to the next level after his leg amputation. “Cycling has been my vehicle to experience freedom and discover how beautiful life can be, no matter the challenges life throws me.”
The event is scheduled for the Communion Wine Bar, where participants will be treated to an exceptional menu of food and wine pairings. Attendees will start with an artisanal Sparklet White Sparkling Wine by Sauvage Spectrum Winery from Palisade, CO., followed by a sampling of merlot, merlot blend, and a Torrontes from Caprice winery located in the uniquely beautiful Uco Valley at the base of the Andes.
