Food and wine:

In its 10th year, Telluride Art + Architecture features the creative talents of local chefs, providing a unique platform for them to share their personal, inventive small bites in stunning homes and for the first time, in intimate private gardens. Each stop on the tour offers a feast for the senses: spectacular design; delicious bites and beverages; music; poetry; and fine art.

Peeking in the windows at Communion Wine Bar in Mountain Village, you see a love for interior design, photography, exquisite gemstones in their natural state, and wine bottles on display as if they were jewelry. The team at Communion leads the beverage program for Telluride Art + Architecture. Working with each of the 10 event chefs they craft the perfect pairing of food and wine or a custom cocktail with the environment.

Guests look forward to culinary art created by Chef Patrick Languens who has participated in the event for years:

“Hands down my favorite event in Telluride! Where else do you find this many artists and artisans in one place? Architects, contractors, niche custom builders, artists, musicians, and of course… Chefs!,” says Chef.

Focused on providing a memorable and immersive art experience – unique at each location that showcases the very best of the community’s cultural and creative talent – Art + Architecture may be Telluride’s best kept food and wine secret.

Featuring local musicians too:

From Town Park to Sunset Plaza, on the street and in businesses, bars and restaurants, music is part of the personality of Telluride. On Saturday and Sunday, July 15 and 16, Telluride Art + Architecture, will feature 14 local musicians playing in the intimate settings of private gardens and stunning homes.

Telluride Arts is committed to supporting music at its source, by providing grants and gigs for local musicians in partnership with the Town of Telluride, the Augment Musicians Fund and Telluride Chamber Music, among others.

Art + Architecture offers the opportunity to get to know local musicians and enjoy their music in the intimate setting of the home and garden tour, a great way to meet the talent who might be available to book for an event of your own!

Playing in nature during the Saturday, July 15th’s Garden Tour, find Tyler Simmons; Telluride Chamber Music’s Claire Beard and Travis Fisher; Heather and Douglas; and performing members of the Telluride Dance Collective.

Matched to the essence of the unique architecture of their surroundings, you will find during the Home Tour on Sunday, July 16, Kirk Drogsvold, Andy Jones, Leslie Ann Browning, Danny D’Alessandro, and Alchemedic Sound.

Alex Paul and Anneke Dean of Birds of Play will perform from a glorious perch in Mountain Village during the Patron Party.
