The Telluride Choral Society (TCS)‘s SpringSing takes place March 18, 7 p.m. and March 19, 4 p.m. at Christ Church. As a tribute to all that new and fresh in the season, the theme of the program is “Make a Joyful Sound.” Tickets at the door.

It seems like we have been wearing our winter threads for a very very long time. And the weather stays cold. Snow covers the ground. Trees still look bare. But everything is about to change. Sometimes Spring tip-toes in through the back door. At other times it charges in like a lion. Then snow becomes a fond memory and the grays and browns of winter fade to a riot of color.
Spring in Telluride. When the snow isn’t flying and the wind isn’t blowing like stink. Mud may be under foot – but love is in the air.
