“May and October, the best-smelling months? I’ll make a case for December: evergreen, frost, wood smoke, cinnamon.” – Lisa Kleypas

Welcome back Winter! As we enter our 2022-2023 Winter Season, we hope you have had a lovely fall and relaxing off-season. We are now OPEN for the winter season. Winter hours are Tuesdays – Saturdays 10am -5pm. (Though we will be closing at 3pm on Christmas and New Years Eves.)

While we hope you are able to come in for a leisurely visit, there is one more lively and fun event on our calendar for your enjoyment. We will be hosting a reopening reception for our annual exhibit: “The Long Run: 50 Years of the Telluride Ski Area” tomorrow (Thursday, December 15th) beginning at 5:30pm. Come on up for an opportunity to view the exhibit, chat with the exhibit’s curator, Molly Daniel, and enjoy some light refreshments.

Beyond that, it’s completely free! We hope to see you up here!

Also, as the year draws to a close, we definitely wanted to take a moment to thank you all for a wonderful 2022. We couldn’t dream of doing all the things we do for the Telluride community without your incredible support. Folks like you are a big reason why we all enjoy working at the Museum so much, and we cannot thank you enough for that.

We hope you all have a wonderful holiday season, and if we don’t see you in the next couple of weeks, we’ll look forward to seeing you in the New Year!

Thank you again!

Sincerely,

Your Museum Family
