The Sunset Music Series is back for the 2022 summer season in Mountain Village! The Telluride Mountain Village Owners Association is excited to announce the lineup for the program held in Sunset Plaza.

One of the most anticipated events of the summer celebrates its long-standing tradition of bringing music and entertainment to the San Juan Mountains. The Sunset Music Series kicks off July 13 and runs Wednesdays and some Thursdays through August 10, 2022.

The Sunset Music Series 2022 brings eight spectacular shows to Mountain Village’s Sunset Plaza (on the lawn near Lift 1/The Chondola) just steps away from the gondola to Telluride. The family-friendly concerts start at 6 p.m, and, as in prior years, the concerts are free and pet-friendly. 

The series will include a few additional Thursday night performances with the goal of spreading out the crowds which enjoy the fine music and the merchants in Mountain Village.

The 2022 Sunset Music Series lineup is as follows:

• Wednesday, July 13 – Curley Taylor and Zydeco Trouble (Louisiana Zydeco). Learn more.

“We are back! After almost three years, we get to bring music back to the Mountain Village Community and the region as a whole!” said Producer Teddy Errico. “The lineup is once again diverse and we are so happy we could put it together last minute.”

After a two-year hiatus due to COVID, TMVOA worked diligently with the Telluride Ski and Golf Company and the Telluride Society For Music to make the series a reality. The sense of community the Series provides is like no other event in the Telluride Region.

“TMVOA, along with Telluride Society For Music, has established a tradition of bringing talented, up-and-coming artists to Mountain Village. The Sunset Concert vibe is magical, and I’m very excited that it’s back.”

The Sunset Music Series is provided to the public free of charge by presenting sponsor TMVOA, as well as The Telluride Society for Music and The Telluride Ski and Golf Company. Supporting sponsors include Broker Associate Teddy Errico of LIV Sotheby’s International Realty, The Peaks Resort and Spa, By Sutton, Telluride Brewing Company and the Town of Mountain Village.

The event is held rain or shine.
