The Telluride Jazz Festival, now only 100 days away, takes place this year from August 12-14, 2022. The weekend presents a well-rounded mix of live jazz, funk, rock, soul, and gospel performances. This year the talent includes Yola, The Motet (With Special Guests TBA), Terence Blanchard Featuring The E-Collective & Turtle Island Quartet, Christian Scott aTunde Adjuah, Dee Dee Bridgewater and the Memphis Soulphony and many more. Festival tickets are on sale. 3-Day Passes are $210 plus fees, Single-Day Passes start at $75 plus fees. The following passes are limited in quantities while supplies last: Patron Experience, “Jazz After Dark” and 4-Day Camping Passes.

Nestled among the aspen trees and surrounded by 13,000-foot mountain peaks, festival artists will perform on the state-of-the-art Main Stage in Town Park. The Society Stage, a secondary venue free of admission, will host weekend programming including interactive student artist performances in the center of town. The intimate performances on the Society Stage aim to further the Telluride Society for Jazz mission of providing student education through music.

Opening Reception – Open the festival on Thursday, August 11 along with fellow Patrons, the Telluride Society for Jazz Board Members and festival staff .

Late Night Schedule

The late night festival schedule is out. When the music ends in Telluride Town Park each day, the fun is far from over! On Friday and Saturday the music continues into the night at “Jazz After Dark” shows located around town in a selection of Telluride’s best indoor nightclubs and historic venues.

Free “First Note” Yoga Sessions

Guided by professional instructor Julie Johnston, enjoy a smooth yoga flow at the free “First Note” Yoga Sessions. Learn activating breath techniques, liberating movements and playful exercises in the crisp mountain morning air. Nestled in the cozy amphitheater of Elks Park in downtown Telluride, the yoga sessions are a fun and inspiring way to start your mornings.

Are you new to  yoga or considering for the first time? Guests of all skill levels are welcome to join. Join in and discover the healing power of yoga.

Historical Walking Tour – Step Into The Past

Step into the celebrated and storied past with the Telluride Historical Museum at this year’s Telluride Jazz Festival.

The Museum will host a Historical Walking Tour on the morning of Saturday, August 13, allowing attendees to explore the unique history of the charming town. Attending the Historical Walking Tour is great way to discover the mining, Ute Native American, ski and festival history that has earned Telluride the designation of a National Historical Landmark.

In addition, the Museum is offering free admission to their exhibits for festival pass-holders throughout the festival weekend. Registration is free but space is limited.

“The Final Waltz” Closing Show Featuring The Motet With Special Guests

The Telluride Jazz Festival comes to an end on Sunday, August 14 at 9:30 pm with a special performance from Colorado’s revered funk band, The Motet, at the iconic Sheridan Opera House. Their following in Colorado is the definition of devoted and Telluride is no different. We love them. They’ve visited the valley and have soaked in these mountain vibes many times.
