Join Telluride Arts for Telluride Art + Architecture 2022 on July 11-17. The immersive art experience showcases the architectural, design and creative talent of the Telluride region. Guests have the opportunity to enjoy a sampling of creative expression from fine artists, chefs, wine-makers, distillers, musicians, actors, interior designers, architects and other innovators.

This year, artists will have the unique chance to show in a variety of venues including, but not limited to the Home Tour, Elks Park, and the Transfer Warehouse. The open call to artists is happening now through the end of May. Artists will be notified of their application status by June 8. Find more information and an artist application form here.

A long-time favorite of the community, the Home Tour on Sunday, July 17, includes installations of a variety of art forms displayed in the interior and exterior spaces of this year’s venues.

There is also an opportunity for culinary artists, beverage professionals, musicians, actors, and fine artists to share their work with the over 300 guests who will purchase a ticket for the tour.

New this year, if you have the ability to share your talents in a moving vehicle, you can have a captive audience on Sunday home tour shuttles.

Nestled along the Main Street of the Town of Telluride, Elks Park offers an artist excellent visibility. The objective of the Elks Park Art + Architecture art installation is public involvement engaging both children and adults in the creation of the piece. The artwork build will occur Monday – Thursday, July 11 – 14, with an artist talk on Wednesday, July 13. Artwork must be removed Monday, July 18th.

The walls of the open-air Transfer Warehouse hold the positive energy of the Telluride arts community. Art in this space has the opportunity to play with the breeze or reflect the textures of the stone walls. Art can be hung from the architectural support beams or be freestanding – but it cannot be anchored to the walls.

The artwork installation will occur on Monday and Tuesday, July 11 and 12 with an artist talk on Tuesday, July 12. Artwork must be removed Monday, July 18th.
