Established in 1991, the Ah Haa School for the Arts is hosting a unique fundraising experience: The HAHA, July 15-17. The event features an immersive artist takeover of the new purpose-built Silver Jack Building in the heart of town, where every person is a party.
This multi-day celebration of creative chaos spotlights artists from around the corner and around the world in a transformational and participatory experience for anyone and everyone.
Participants will be transported into a series of fantastic realms. Each space within the Silver Jack will be transformed into explorable site-specific art installations – from a surrealist topographic landscape to mind-bending color caves, installations of rainbows and tinsel merge into color and light-bending worlds. Every new space opens up a new world of possibilities.
More than an exciting new art experience, the HAHA is a reflection of the values of Ah Haa School and the American Academy of Bookbinding. Ah Haa is committed to community building and creating a sense of place for people of all ages to locate and share their creative voices.
The HAHA is a significant fundraising event that allows us to out access and opportunity up front and personal to encourage the greater Telluride community to participate and engage in creative experiences.
