Camille Denman grew up in Telluride and has been playing the violin since the age of 5 years old. Over the years, Camille and her sister Juliet have performed at many local events including Shakespeare in the Park, Art + Architecture, Telluride MusicFest, and TEDx.
Camille currently studies violin with Eugenia Alikhanova in Denver. She will perform some of the pieces she learned for music school auditions, including several short works by Dvorak, Beethoven, Paganini, and Piazzolla.
“It’s common for young musicians to perform a senior recital when they graduate from high school. I performed the first movement of the Dvorak Violin Concerto with the Loveland Orchestra this past Fall and I’m excited to bring it to Telluride along with Anna Arzumanyan, the fabulous pianist I’ve been working with for several years.”
