12 Dec Ah Haa: “Cup of Love,” Winter Mixer/Fun-raiser, 12/29!
At Telluride’s Ah Haa School for the Arts’ winter mixer and fundraiser, “Cup of Love,” raise a glass to creativity and connecting with local artists. A few of those artists were commissioned by the school to create new work in conjunction with the ongoing “Cup & Bowl” show. This should be the mixer of the winter season.

“Cup of Love” is a fundraising event celebrating and benefitting Ah Haa’s expanded “ceramics” and “exhibitions” programs. This shared evening of discovery and exploration directly supports an opportunity for people of all ages to participate through tuition assistance and scholarship funds.
“We commissioned local and regional artists for this event whose work is part of the experience and part of your ticket and donation. You will be able to take home a piece of art and, at the same time, support a wide variety of creative possibilities for our community,” says Executive Director, Marty Wollesen.”
“Cup of Love” includes live music with a DJ, creative appetizers, and special Ah Haa cocktails such as “Abstract Menace” and the “Pom Pom Palace.”

Hire Fire Host
$5,000 per ticket (10 attendees per ticket)
The High Fire Host package includes a champagne toast and featured artist meet-and-greet; a handmade cup made by a Cup and Bowl show featured artist; a private class for up to 10; a tax-deductible donation to scholarship funds; and admission to the event and all the amenities: live music, themed beverages, and small bites.
Porcelain Patrons
$300 per ticket
Porcelain Patrons receive a handmade cup for each guest made by one of the Cup and Bowl Show artists; a tax-deductible donation towards Ah Haa’s tuition assistance and scholarship funds; and admission to the event.
Greenware Guests
$150 per ticket
Greenware Guests receive admission to the Cup of Love event, including mingling with featured artists; lounge music entertainment; a “Mug Shot” from the photography booth; artist talks; and a variety of themed beverages and small bites.
“Cup & Bowl” Show, more:
“Cup & Bowl” at Ah Haa represents the work of over 30 artists and displays over 300 cups and bowls. With this show, Ah Haa aims to provide space for all artists of all ages and skill levels who want to showcase their creativity. Everyone from the Telluride community and beyond was invited to participate through an open call to artists.
“Cup & Bowl” is open to the public during regular business hours, Monday through Friday, noon – 5 p.m. in the Daniel Tucker Gallery. The show runs through January 28, 2022.
