On Wednesday, local author and storyteller Craig Childs comes to the Transfer Warehouse with one of his signature performances, calling in the Summer Solstice with a June 16 show.
“Bright Night” will be a mix of spoken word, imagery, and live music, including blues raconteur Russ Chapman, winner of the 2017 Telluride Blues Challenge, and Ouray poet Samantha Tisdel Wright.
These performers will explore the theme of “Emergence” in a powerful presentation that kicks off the evening at sunset, doors open at 8pm.
On Thursday, Portwood & Friends will be performing a free concert as part of the Twilight at the Transfer Music Series. Doors open at 6pm and music starts at 7pm.
Bluegrass weekend is upon us again, and Thursday is a great night to be out and about in Telluride! Kick off the festival with free, local music at the Warehouse!
Portwood weaves together traditional New Orleans rhythm & blues with modern Newgrass melodies.

Born in a distillery in Durango, CO, Stillhouse Junkies play a delirious, head-spinning mixture of original roots, blues, funk, swing, and bluegrass music. With all three band members sharing vocal duties and swapping instruments, the Junkies conjure a wide range of tonal landscapes that pay tribute to the iconic sounds of Gillian Welch, the Allman Brothers, Tim O’Brien, the Wood Brothers, John Hiatt, and countless others while breaking new musical ground with their genre-bending original material.

Sunday at the Warehouse, Telluride Pride Committee presents TelluPRIDE Sunday Funday: A Celebration of and for the LGBTQ+ Community in collaboration with Telluride Arts.
Members of the LGBTQ+ Community and allies of all ages are invited to celebrate pride month at the Telluride Transfer Warehouse. Join in for food, games, drinks, drag, and dancing in honor of being who you are and loving who you love.
