In addition, on Saturday, March 27, 2 – 5 p.m., the Gallery is hosting a special event featuring Cameron Silver. Meet him and shop some special vintage designer pieces (think Chanel and other fashion industry icons) and pick up a copy of Cameron’s book, “DECADES: A Century of Fashion.”​

 

Cameron Silver,​ a global fashion expert, celebrity stylist, fashion influencer and international best-selling author, is the founder of Decades, an acclaimed vintage retail store in Los Angeles.

In 2012, Cameron published the industry tome “DECADES: A Century of Fashion.” He has also written for publications including Harpers Bazaar, The New York Times,​ and D​epartures.​

Cameron brings his expertise on the history of fashion to speaking engagements around the world, focusing on the past, reflecting on the current state of fashion, and contemplating the future of the industry.

Named one of ​Time Magazine’s “​ 25 Most Influential Names and Faces in Fashion,” Cameron has styled celebrities for major red carpet appearances, including the Golden Globes and Academy Awards. He has also consulted for fashion and luxury brands around the world.

Cameron Silver is also the Fashion Director of the H Halston and H by Halston brands. Bringing extensive knowledge about the history of the iconic American brand, Cameron works with a design team to offer seasonal inspiration and styling guidance in line with the Halston brand’s legacy and unique design DNA.

Cameron appears regularly on shows such as “G​ood Morning America​” and CBS’s “This Morning,”​ where he is widely recognized as a fashion and style authority.
