01 Nov Mountainfilm: Film Submissions Now Open!
Telluride’s Mountainfilm is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit and strongly believes in filmmaker support. Submission fees fund its Commitment Grants and Emerging Filmmaker Fellowship. And, can you believe it?, it is that time of year, again. As of November 1, Mountainfilm began to accept film submissions for the 2021 festival.
Mountainfilm 2021 will look a little different. Right now, the plan is to have some version of an in-person and virtual festival hybrid. One thing that hasn’t changed is the non- profit’s mission to use the power of film, art and ideas to inspire audiences to create a better world — and we couldn’t do it without filmmakers like you.
You will need a FilmFreeway account to submit your project to be considered for the 43rd annual festival. Before submissions open, head to our submission information page, where you will find deadlines, fees, rules and terms, and festival awards. You can also check out the2020 festival films and award winners.
Features are defined as 40 minutes and above, shorts as less than 40 minutes.
Let’s create a better world
Now, more than ever, we need your support. It is only through generous contributions that we can continue our mission to use the power of film, art, and ideas to inspire audiences to create a better world. Donations will go a long way to ensure that Mountainfilm endures and comes back strong in 2021. Every little bit helps, become a donor today!
